On your portal, you will find shortcuts to various features and information in the form of tiles. You can create your own portals by duplicating the two existing default portals.
To access the portal, you must assign a User - Portal right to your employees. |
Tiles
The tiles on the portal are shortcuts to the various features or give you various items of information depending on their type. Once these tiles have been created, they are assigned to a portal.
Whether the tiles are visible depends on:
•the rights of the identified user: A user who does not have the right to consult his/her schedule will not see the tile even if it is on the portal.
•the setup of the portal itself: Conversely, if the tile is not on the portal, the user cannot access his/her schedule via the portal even if he/she has the necessary rights.
•the setup of the accessibility of the applications according to the device (PC/Mac or touchscreen): If the user wants to consult the schedule from his/her smartphone, the tile must be configured for this type of device.
The tiles are configured from the Setup menu.
The portals
A portal is composed of a set of tiles and/or indicators that allow the user to easily access the applications and quickly view a certain number of items of information. By default, there are two portals you can modify or duplicate in order to adapt them to your requirements: an employee portal and a manager and administrator portal. This allows you to display to each user only the features for which he/she has authorisation. An employee and an HR administrator will therefore have different portals, because they have different rights.
The system assigns a default portal to each user except those who have only one of the following profiles: Employee - Terminal, Administrator - Terminal, Administrator - Access administration, Administrator - Access setup. |
The portals are configured from the Setup menu.
You can assign a portal to different groups of people directly from the Setup > Customisation > Portal > Portal administration menu. Conversely, individual portals can be assigned with a User - Portal profile. |
