From the Setup > Hardware > Keyboard terminals menu, you can configure the functions associated with your terminals’ keys.
Default function key configuration
This window allows you to assign a specific function to each key. This configuration is performed for each type of terminal (Kelio Visio 1, Kelio Prio, Xtrem, etc.) and is then applied by default to all terminals of this type. Customisation will still be possible for each terminal. Assigning functions to keys for each type of terminal (Kelio Visio, Kelio Prio, etc.) 1.Select the Type of keyboard concerned in the list in the bottom of the screen.
Modifying the function assignments 2.Choose the Function to be assigned corresponding to the key in the dropdown menu 3.If necessary, assign a type by clicking on the Define button for a business leave or change of activity. If no types are selected from the scrolling menus, employees will have the choice of the types authorised to them on the terminal.
Deleting assignments 4.Select the Inactive key function. 5.Save to validate the function assignment.
For Visio LCD and BT type terminals, Kelio assigns the following functions to the keys by default:

Function key configuration by terminal
The Function key configuration by terminal tab lets you assign function keys to the terminals of your choice. These keys are different from the global configuration defined in the Default configuration of function keys tab: To customise a terminal's function key, you must: 1.Click on the terminal to be customised in the lower part of the screen. 2.Activate the Specific configuration in the upper part. The functions assigned to the keys are those allocated for this type of terminal in the default configuration tab. 3.To modify an assignment, select the new function to be assigned from the dropdown menu 4.If necessary, assign a type by clicking on the Define button. If no types are selected from the scrolling menus, employees will have the choice of the types authorised to them on the terminal. 5.Click on Save to validate the function assignment. |
The display group allows you to define what the employees are authorised to view on a Kelio Visio 1 clocking terminal when swiping their badge or, where applicable, when interrogating the terminal. You can set up several display groups to have different categories of employees in the organisation who do not view the same type of data on the clocking terminal. The display group can be set up in the rights module. To set up a display group, you must: 1.From the Setup > Keyboard terminals > Display groups menu, select a display group and give it a Description. 2.In the Clocking in and out area, click on 3.Select in the list what you wish to display on the second line of the terminal when the employee swipes his/her badge. Two-line display is not allowed in this case because the first line is necessarily preserved to display the type of operation performed by the employee (Clocking in or out). 4.In some cases, the information viewed requires specific indications as to the selection of the period to be displayed (for example, balance of the day or of the week, etc.). 5.Click on Save to confirm. Then you can repeat the same operation for interrogations if you wish. In fact, you can create 6 different interrogations which can be viewed by employees by pressing several times on the scroll keys of the terminal (arrows). The setup can be done for each line of the terminal. In this way, you can leave the employee's surname and forename on the first line and a total on the second line. This will guarantee that the employee does interrogate his/her personal account. When you want to select a display on two lines, you must start with the upper line. The display requires that the account option, period to be displayed and magnitude value if any, be completed. |
