The posts and requirements area (Area 4) lets you establish posts according to various criteria, assign resource or time requirements to them and check that requirements are covered according to the planning.

This area can be accessed by clicking on Posts in the dropdown menu Lower area of the toolbar and may be customised.

The concept of post

A post lets you make links between different employee data and count it day to day. The employee data that must be defined in a post are:

The working and rest schedule,

The absence,

The activities, cost centres and clients,

On-call duty,

The job title,

The skills and level.

Thus it is possible, for example, to create a post called "Night service", which enables you to count the number of employees:

Who work on a night schedule,

Who are nurses,

Who possess the anaesthetist skill.

Similarly, you can obtain the list of checkout staff on paid leave, vendors on rest time, morning turners, etc.

In the employee planning, the creation of a post takes place in the same way as in the post planning view. The posts may be enhanced with job titles, skills and skill levels.

The concept of requirement

A requirements lets you specify expectations in terms of number of employees or hours on a specific post, at time T. This time T may be:

A day (requirement for 15 checkout staff per day),

A half-day (requirement for 8 checkout staff in the morning and 12 in the afternoon),

a morning, an afternoon, a night (to ensure sequencing of teams)

An hour (requirement for 4 checkout staff from 9:00 to 10:00, 8 from 10:00 to 12:00, 3 from 12:00 to 14:00 and so on).

In the employee planning, the creation of a requirement takes place in the same way as in the post planning view.
