The Kelio system allows you to create different access codes to allow a group of people to pass through the access point selected by the person in charge of the setup without using badges. This can allow night watchmen, for example, to access all the premises using a single and confidential code that they type on a numeric keypad.

An access code is set up by clicking on SET UP > Access > Functional rules > Access codes. The list of access codes already created appears at the bottom of the screen (Area 5).

1.Click on icn_add_black or right-click on the list and select Add.

2.Enter a Description for this access code.

3.Define the Time between 2 keystrokes to cancel code being entered.

4.Enter the Collective access code that will trigger an access opening.

5.You have the option to deny access in the event of too many erroneous tests. In that case, select the Lock access if too many unsuccessful code entry attempts and indicate the Number of attempts before lockout and Lockout duration.

6.You have the option of generating an anomaly if a certain number of unsuccessful tests are reached. To do so, you must: 

Select the type of First warning and possibly Second warning for the checks you want to carry out.

a.LED flashing,

b.By software (pop-up window), define the acknowledgement type of the associated anomaly).

c.By email (select email alert from the drop-down menu),

d.By relay (audible or visual local alarm). Select the command relay which will trigger it from those proposed in the drop-down menu.

e.By SMS (select SMS alert from the drop-down menu).

7.Select the acknowledgement type of the warning:

a.Acknowledgment by timeout to stop the alarm and acknowledge the anomaly at the end of the time entered in minutes and seconds.

b.Acknowledgement by software to stop the alarm by validating a warning message on the screen.

Duress access code

8.If necessary, enter a Duress access code, which will also open the door but immediately trigger an anomaly when it does so. This code allows the owner of the code to activate the opening under duress, while also sending an alert.

9.You can be warned in the event of an access code entered under duress. Follow the instructions above to configure the warning and acknowledgement.

10.Click on Save to confirm the creation of the access code.

tog_minus        Management rules for door sensors

You can set up functions to control the opening and/or closing of the door for specific access points. To do so, it is necessary to define beforehand the control rules associated with corresponding door sensors, in order to subsequently associate the rules created with desired accesses.

 

Types of door opening or closing anomalies:

•Access left open: you can be warned if an access is left open.

•Access not open: in case a memory door opener is used, when an access opening is requested but the crossing is not effective (door not open), the crossing remains possible as the door opener remains free until the door opens. In this case, it may be useful to be warned.

•Forced access: it is possible to set up an alarm when an access is forced.

The setup of a door sensor control is done by clicking on SET UP > Access > Functional rules > Door sensors. The list of control rules already created appears at the bottom of the screen (Area 5).

1.Click on icn_add_black or right-click on the list and select Add.

2.Enter a Description for this new rule.

3.Define, if necessary, the Duration before declaration. This defines a time delay during which the warning will not be triggered.

4.It is also possible to define a Duration of extended mode before declaration which allows you to define a longer time interval applicable for example to employees with reduced mobility. This information is then specified in their employee’s file.

5. Select the type of First warning and possibly Second warning for the checks you want to carry out.

a.LED flashing,

d.By relay (audible or visual local alarm). Select the command relay which will trigger it from those proposed in the drop-down menu.

6.Select the acknowledgement type of the warning:

a.Acknowledgment by Closing/Opening access.

b.Acknowledgment by timeout to stop the alarm at the end of the time entered in minutes and seconds.

c.Acknowledgement by software to acknowledge the anomaly by validating a warning message on the screen.

7.Click on Save to validate the creation of the rule.

tog_minus        Off-line modes

You can set up off-line modes and link them to different access points. These off-line modes allow you to define the access control mode in case of link failure between the RI (Reader Interface) and the hub (or terminal).

 

An off-line mode is set up by clicking on SET UP > Access > Functional rules > Off-line modes. The list of off-line modes already created appears at the bottom of the screen (Area 5).

1.Click on icn_add_black or right-click on the list and select Add.

2.Enter a Description.

3.Define the Crossing mode of the access in case of link failure (Locked, Free mode, etc.).

4.From the drop-down menu, select the type of First warning and possibly Second warning to be warned in case of connection failure.

a.By software (pop-up window), define the acknowledgement type of the associated anomaly).

b.By email (select email alert from the drop-down menu),

c.By relay (audible or visual local alarm). Select the command relay which will trigger it from those proposed in the drop-down menu.

d.By SMS (select SMS alert from the drop-down menu).

5.Select the acknowledgement type of the warning:

a.Acknowledgement by restored connection.

b.Acknowledgment by timeout to stop the alarm at the end of the time entered in minutes and seconds.

c.Acknowledgement by software to acknowledge the anomaly by validating a warning message on the screen.

6.Click on Save to confirm the creation of this off-line mode.

You have the option to set up access anomaly management in order to be notified in case of hardware failure. You will then be able to associate it with different access points. This function is used, inter alia, for the emergency door release trigger.

An access anomaly is set up by clicking on SET UP > Access > Functional rules > Access anomalies. The list of off-line access anomalies already created appears at the bottom of the screen (Area 5).

1.Click on icn_add_black or right-click on the list and select Add.

2.Enter a Description.

3.Define the Duration before declaration of the anomaly.

4.From the drop-down menu, select the type of First warning and possibly Second warning to be warned of an ongoing access anomaly.

a.By software (pop-up window), define the acknowledgement type of the associated anomaly).

b.By email (select email alert from the drop-down menu),

c.By relay (audible or visual local alarm). Select the command relay which will trigger it from those proposed in the drop-down menu.

d.By SMS (select SMS alert from the drop-down menu).

5.Select the acknowledgement type of the warning:

a.Acknowledgement by deletion of anomaly.

b.Acknowledgement by timeout to acknowledge the anomaly at the end of the time entered in hours, minutes and seconds.

c.Acknowledgement by software.

6.Click on Save to confirm the creation of this off-line mode.
