An employee is assigned to a work post using the palette, in the same way as a schedule is assigned to an employee in the view of the resource planning.
Instead of searching for a person in the long list in the palette, you can select an employee from the planning and then assign them to another post. Simply press Shift on your keyboard, click on the element and place it where you want it.
There are two cases to be taken into account:
In this case, you have chosen the unique assignment according to type of post at creation of the post. When you try to put an employee there who does not have the job title or skills required for this post, an alert message appears. You may then force the operation. Assigning the employee to the post automatically assigns him/her to the schedule defined in the post. If this post contains several schedules, a list is displayed. Simply select the schedule in question and confirm using Validate. This assignment does not change the employee's job title or skills. |
When you try to assign an employee to a post for which he/she does not have the job title or skills required, a message informs you that this is impossible. You must then choose an employee in the palette who satisfies the necessary conditions. |
It is also possible to assign an employee to a post via a predefined list of employees who correspond to this post. To do so, you must: 1.Select the period concerned, for a post, in the planning of posts. 2.Right click on the selection, then click on Assign filtered resources to the post. 3.The system gives the list of employees who meet the criteria. The priority concepts, by employee or by job title and skills, previously configured for your posts will appear. 4.Check the boxes that correspond to the employees to be assigned. To facilitate your choice, clicking on 5.Click on Validate to confirm the assignment. |
To delete the assignment when an employee is assigned to a post you must: 1.Select the period concerned, for a post, in the planning of posts. 2.Right-click on the selection then select Delete. 3.Activate the check boxes that correspond to the employee(s) that will no longer be assigned if an assignment is deleted. 4.Click on Validate to confirm the deletion. |
Kelio proposes planning for employees identified as "to be planned" in order to meet requirements for the various posts, taking conditions (jobs, priorities, etc.) into account. See detailed operation here. |
