Each access is to be associated to an annual crossing schedule. This defines when it is possible to cross the access and with what security level. The annual crossing schedule represents the complete period. It is comprised of weekly crossing schedules representing one week and/or daily crossing schedules corresponding to days.
There must be a clear distinction between a crossing schedule, which applies to hardware, and profiles or access windows which apply to people. |
Access crossing modes
There are 6 crossing types corresponding to various safety levels:
Blocked > door closed, passage prohibited |
Authentication (2 actions) > individual recognition with 2 identifications of different types, for example, opening by swiping a badge if following a correct biometric authentication |
Identification (1 action) > individual recognition with only one type of identification, e.g. opening by swiping a badge |
Collective access > opening by code or swiping a badge with recognition of only the system number |
Push button > opening triggered by pressing a push button |
Free > door permanently open (not controlled by Kelio). |
We will subsequently see how to associate crossing schedules with hardware declared in the system.
