When several planners manage different populations, they sometimes need to exchange employees. A manager makes their employee available, a manager from another section can then borrow them.
In resource view, it is possible to display availability posts in the lower area. This displays the number and the employees available in the other sections. When you select an employee on an availability post, they appear in red so that you can find them more easily in the grid.
To declare an employee available:
1.Select the days concerned with the mouse in the planning grid for the employee required. 2.Right click, Make available. 3.Click on 4.Enter a Comment if necessary. 5.Click on 6.Validate. 7.Th employee appears in black on the availability post. |
To view the availability periods of a particular employee:
1.In the planning grid, select the relevant employee using the mouse. 2.Right click, Make available. The availabilities window appears on the screen and lists the employee's availability periods if any. From here you can create or modify new availability declarations. |
The days for which the employee has been made available appear hatched in the planning. |

To borrow an available employee:
When an employee has been declared available by another section, you can borrow him/her from the availability post in Area 4. Available employees not belonging to your population appear in blue on the post. They are struck out if you have already borrowed them.
1.Click on the employee concerned. He/she is selected for the entire availability period and appears in red. 2.Right click Borrow. The setup window for borrowing criteria is displayed on the screen. 3.Adjust the Dates if necessary. 4.Select a Section 5.Add a Comment if necessary. 6.Click on 7.Validate. 8.If applicable add a second borrowing period by clicking on 9.The employee no longer appears as hatched but the small arrow indicates that he/she has been loaned to me.

Right clicking on Area 1 then clicking in the menu on History of changes in personnel lets you consult the history of all staff loans between sections. The loans are displayed in the Loans tab with the dates, the destination section and the name of the borrower. |
